Welcome to our breakdown of the U.S. Northeast Diving Community. DIVE LOCAL defines the Northeast Territory to include Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. It also includes the Eastern Canadian Territories of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia. Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
In our opinion, a Local Diving Community is comprised of at least four core businesses; the Local Dive Stores, Dive Boat Operators, Dive Clubs and Diving Instructors. Industry Professionals in these groups work every day in the community to 1) Teach Diving 2) Sell Diving Equipment 3) Take people Diving and 4) Keep Divers Active. These groups are the Four Pillars of every Local Diving Community.
It is our goal, as a Diving Trade Association, to bring Buyers & Sellers of diving equipment, training, travel and Lifestyle products together by providing our professional recommendations and referrals.
Local Diving Community Professionals are supported by a number of Industries that specialize in Diving. They are; Diving Equipment Manufacturers, Certification Agencies and Travel Businesses.
The mission of DIVE LOCAL – NORTHEAST is to define the number of Industry Professionals and Dive Businesses in the Territory and determine the economic impact of this community. This website addresses the following participants and activities.
