Welcome to our breakdown of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic Diving Community. DIVE LOCAL defines the Mid-Atlantic Territory to include Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington D.C.
In our opinion, a Local Diving Community is comprised of at least Four Core businesses; the Local Dive Stores, Dive Boat Operators, Dive Clubs and Diving Instructors. Industry Professionals in these groups work every day in the community to 1) Teach Diving 2) Sell Diving Equipment 3) Take people Diving and 4) Keep Divers Active in the Recreation. These groups are the Four Pillars of every Local Diving Community.
The mission of DIVE LOCAL – MID-ATLANTIC is to define the number of Industry Professionals and Dive Businesses in the Territory and determine the economic impact of this community. This website addresses the following participants and activities.
